Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska, seeks a Ski Patrol – Level 2 to maintain guest safety on the mountain. You will perform advanced patrol tasks, lead operations, and coordinate with Dispatch and Aid Room teams in a dynamic resort setting.

The role requires multiple certifications (OREC, CPR/BLS, Avalanche Pro 1) and at least three patrol seasons, with strong skiing ability and outdoor endurance. Enjoy living and working near the mountains with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Outdoor Emergency Care or higher certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification appropriate for position.
• Avalanche Pro 1 certification must be current.
• Minimum three seasons of ski patrol experience.
• Proficiency with dispatch, aid room, and avalanche management.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrol duties including open/close operations and safety enforcement.
• Demonstrate advanced avalanche rescue and toboggan handling.
• Lead and mentor patrollers; participate in training.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Aid Room, and mountain operations.
• Conduct incident investigations and document outcomes.
