Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Seasonal Ski & Ride School assistant for Snow Valley in Running Springs. You will help children learn skiing and snowboarding, while coordinating with parents and staff to ensure a safe, fun experience.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Snow Valley location offers seasonal employment near Big Bear with access to employee perks and discounts.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists in the ski and snowboard learning process for children in the Ski and Ride School (SRS). Interacts with parents on a regular basis, while performing inside and outside job duties.

This position is located at Snow Valley in Running Springs.

Starting wage between $19.00/hr. - $22.80/hr. depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• An effective communicator who acts as an ambassador of service for the Company internally to staff and externally to guests with respect and maturity
• Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and guest policies
• Ability to operate equipment as trained
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
