Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Carhop to deliver meals to guests with a friendly, fast-service approach. You will skate or learn to skate, balance up to 25 pounds, and provide courteous service while handling payments accurately.

This role requires irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll work with a MOD, keep the restaurant clean and safe, and help stock and clear areas while upholding appearance standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to follow appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product meets quality and appearance standards before serving.
• Deliver products to guests while carrying a tray up to 25 pounds.
• Provide friendly, quick, and polite service to guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate with MOD.
• Assist guests with payment and make accurate change.
• Clear trays and trash from guest vehicles and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per standards.
• Attend regularly and follow company procedures.
