How you will make an impact:

You will join a team dedicated to creating the paper and security products our customers rely on for their economies. With your diligence and desire to meet goals and exceed quality standards you will ensure customers get their currency needs on time and without error. As you onboard, your ability to learn new technical skills will allow you to cross train in various processes to provide customers flexibility based on their future needs.

We're looking for a Size Utility Worker who has a primary responsibility for the making of size for the paper machine as well as the storage and preparation of security fibers. This position will also perform utility duties, including broke management, broke disposal, chemical inventory and assist in various areas of the mill as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Mix size materials in appropriate quantities and cook properly for each batch of size.
• Keep machine supplied with adequate amount of size and correctly estimate amount of size needed for the pounds of paper to be produced and work with the machine crews to determine time of run outs.
• Pump size over to running tanks and all other chemicals.
• Properly dispose of bags and containers emptied during size and fiber preparation in the proper containers such as burn boxes with proper labeling, as required.
• Documenting the chemical and size usage on the proper logs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as a Beater Helper at Bay State and Wahconah.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn and maintain department supplies requirements.
• Knowledge of company recycling/universal waste programs.
• Must have hazardous materials training.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a high risk position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
