We are looking for a Six Sigma Business Process Improvement Manager for a long-term, multi-year project. The position is based out of NEWARK, NJ, but can currently be done remotely.

Skills
  • Experienced process improvement practitioner focused on driving cost reduction
  • Ability to execute complex process improvement initiatives with some supervision and guidance
  • Ability to report and communicate results from process improvement efforts
  • Influence business partners to make informed decisions
  • Ability to influence small teams without direct authority
  • Act as a change agent/coach to instill and sustain changes
  • Build positive relationships and credibility with the BPI team and business partners
  • Assess change readiness and prepare stakeholder transition plans
  • Utilize process improvement principles and tools for significant results
  • Direct analysis by process improvement analysts
  • Drive high-quality results using Lean, DMAIC, and Design for Six Sigma methodologies
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues
  • Develop detailed project plans and track performance to ensure timely completion
  • Develop practical solutions for complex business problems
  • Coach and mentor Lean and Green Belt candidates for certification
  • Create content for leadership presentations
  • Ensure deployment of solutions across divisions
  • Identify and present new project opportunities to leadership
  • Share best practices among process improvement teams and clients
  • Partner with Finance and Business to develop and track project metrics
  • Develop business cases using ROI models
  • Develop control plans and monitor key metrics
  • Deliver operational and financial benefits to meet annual targets

Requirements include a BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering, finance, or a technical discipline.
