Job summary

Kaminskiy Design & Remodeling is seeking a confident Design Consultant in San Diego. You will meet homeowners, discuss budgets and feasibility, explain our design-build process, and guide clients from consultation through to contract.

This full-time role emphasizes relationship-based sales with a strong commissions potential, supported by a recoverable draw and a clear ramp to earning above the draw within months.

Qualifications

• Proven record of consultative sales success.
• Experience selling remodeling or high-value services.
• Professional presence in clients’ homes.
• Ability to discuss budgets and financial commitments.
• Willingness to travel throughout San Diego County.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with prospective remodeling clients.
• Build trust quickly and create a professional, welcoming client experience.
• Help homeowners clarify goals, priorities, concerns, budget, and timeline.
• Ask thoughtful questions to uncover practical needs and emotional reasons.
• Explain the benefits of the design-build process clearly and confidently.
• Present design retainers and guide qualified homeowners toward the next step.
• Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up with prospective clients.
• Manage an active pipeline and own opportunities from consultation to contract.
