SIU Field Investigator - Central and Eastern NC

This position is located in Goldsboro, NC, with a preferred location in Raleigh/Durham, Smithfield, Goldsboro, Rocky Mount, Greenville, or Wilson, NC, with regular travel in central and eastern North Carolina.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct investigations on potentially suspect/inflated auto, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims.
• Compile and analyze information, conduct interviews, and refer claims to law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain detailed investigation notes and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Communicate with fraud agencies and claim staff about suspicious claims.
• Represent the company in court as a witness for suspected fraud cases.

What it Takes:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree in Police Science, Police Administration, or Criminal Justice preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience; 4+ preferred.
• Experience in claims investigations, especially auto claims, is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong investigative, communication, and analytical skills.
