Job summary

Scotland Health Care System in Laurinburg, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Patient Safety Attendant to support nursing staff by monitoring patient safety, assisting with mobility, and providing comforting interactions.

Responsibilities include communicating safety observations to nurses, reading to patients, guiding short walks, sounding alarms in emergencies, and monitoring at-risk patients while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients in a compassionate manner.
• Ability to work well under the supervision of a health care professional.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organizational skills and confidentiality are a must.
