Job summary

The Mobilization Center is seeking a Sitka Organizer to conduct direct voter and community outreach in Sitka, Alaska. The ideal candidate will work independently under the Southeast Field Manager and meet field and outreach goals while maintaining regular communication with the supervisor.

The role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week of canvassing, primarily door-to-door with some phone outreach, and includes scheduling flexibility, meetings, training, and data entry.

• Independent work style with reliable daily workflow management.
• Strong communication and reporting to supervisor and team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a minimum of 30 hours of direct canvassing each week, including door-to-door and phone canvassing.
• Independently manage canvassing schedules, turf, call lists, and daily outreach.
• Meet weekly/monthly outreach targets for door knocking, calls, and voter contacts.
• Attend required weekly meetings with the Southeast Field Manager and staff.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor regarding progress and field needs.
• Accurately track and submit canvassing data and reporting forms.
• Maintain materials and resources needed for field work.
• Identify community events and outreach opportunities to share approved information.
