Job summary

Wise Equation Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Sitecore Migration Engineer to lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises Sitecore to Sitecore XM Cloud. You will assess existing implementations, design migration strategies, and develop POCs to validate approaches.

The role involves refactoring legacy code for cloud readiness, building APIs with C#/.NET, and coordinating with Front-end teams using Next.js. Strong architecture analysis and DevOps familiarity are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of application development experience.
Hands-on experience with Sitecore XM Cloud.
Proven experience migrating Sitecore solutions to cloud platforms.
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development.
Experience analyzing enterprise application architectures.
Understanding of headless CMS concepts and modern front-end frameworks.
Experience identifying and resolving integration and dependency challenges.

Responsibilities

Perform assessment and discovery of existing Sitecore implementations and supporting integrations.
Design and execute migration strategies from on-premises Sitecore to Sitecore XM Cloud.
Develop proof-of-concepts and validate migration approaches.
Refactor legacy code, services, and integrations to ensure cloud compatibility.
Identify technical dependencies, risks, and remediation strategies.
Build and maintain APIs and backend services using C#/.NET.
Partner with front-end developers supporting headless implementations using Next.js.
Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Architecture teams to optimize performance, scalability, and security.
Create migration plans, work breakdown structures, and implementation roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and best practices throughout the migration effort.
