Responsibilities

Peraton requires a Technical Project Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.

Position is located at SOCOM at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. These services include maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), systems and network infrastructure, end-user and common device support, configuration, change, license, and asset management, as well as conducting training and performing Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. These responsibilities are vital to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and the end-users operating globally 24x7x365.

The role involves overseeing operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management, stakeholders, and project teams. It includes reviewing project status, managing schedules, preparing reports, and developing resolutions for project issues to meet productivity, quality, and satisfaction goals. The manager will develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and intervening when necessary.

  • Lead and manage personnel responsible for the organization's project portfolio, ensuring efficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with the customer to develop and execute project objectives, proposals, and plans.
  • Define project responsibilities, assign personnel, review bids, and study product design, customer requirements, and standards to determine specifications.
  • Design and conduct tests to confirm product performance.
  • Establish project schedules, monitor progress, coordinate activities, and resolve issues to maintain timelines.
  • Review designs and specifications, manage schedule changes, and recommend actions to control project plans.
  • Approve expenditures, administer contracts, and prepare status reports.
  • Provide technical and operational leadership within the programmatic guidelines.
  • Generate and review project requirements documentation and perform technical studies.
  • Ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well-defined and maintained.
