Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring a Sitework Laborer in Manchester, NH for a full-time, temp-to-permanent role with a respected contractor. If you enjoy outdoor work, contributing to a team, and seeing projects take shape from the ground up, we want to hear from you.

You’ll assist with siteclearing, grading, excavation, and laying out utilities while following OSHA safety requirements. This position offers steady hours and a clear path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, sitework, or laborer experience preferred.
• Underground utility, pipe installation, excavation, or dirt work experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on uneven terrain.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to travel to jobsites throughout Southern New Hampshire.
• Union operators contract available; this position is focused on general sitework and labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site clearing, grading, excavation, and general sitework.
• Help install underground utilities, including water, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Perform trenching, backfilling, and compaction.
• Assist with foundation preparation and site development.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, plate compactors, and other jobsite equipment.
• Dig, move materials, and perform general labor as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport materials around the jobsite.
• Assist equipment operators and other tradespeople with daily sitework.
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
