Job summary

ABM is seeking a detail-oriented Custodial Manager to oversee janitorial services across client sites. You will lead a team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction, and manage projects within budget and schedule.

This full-time on-site role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience in janitorial management. English proficiency required; Spanish a plus. ABM offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years in janitorial management or related field.
• Experience managing multiple sites or large-scale projects is an asset.
• Experience working with union employees highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• English reading/writing/comprehension required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of janitorial projects across client sites within budget and on time.
• Lead and train a team of janitorial staff, ensuring safety and quality.
• Serve as main client contact, maintaining relationships and regular progress meetings.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to cover all shifts and projects.
• Implement quality control to meet client specs and company standards.
• Ensure safety compliance and address safety concerns promptly.
• Manage supplies and equipment procurement and upkeep.
• Address issues quickly and provide data-driven reporting and improvements.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost savings, and drive continuous improvement.
