Job summary

SKF is seeking an on-site Field Service Site Lead to drive the Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Program at a customer site. You will coordinate cross-functional SKF teams, monitor equipment health, and report reliability results to customer leadership.

This leadership role requires strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills, with a focus on improving asset performance and delivering measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Vibration Analysis certification (ISO II or higher) preferred.
• Reliability certifications such as CMRP or CRL preferred.
• Extensive maintenance and reliability experience in industrial settings.
• Proficiency with reliability software and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site SKF lead and primary customer contact for the Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Program.
• Lead site reliability activities: vibration analysis, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance.
• Analyze asset health data to identify issues and improve reliability.
• Coordinate with SKF teams to validate findings and deliver clear recommendations.
• Build customer relationships by communicating priorities and ROI.
• Present reliability findings, metrics, and cost savings to leadership.
• Identify upsell opportunities for SKF products and services.
• Mentor site resources and customer personnel on reliability best practices.
