Job summary

Archer Western Construction, LLC in Little Elm, TX is seeking a Utility Laborer to support the Central Water Region - Doe Branch Project on busy construction sites, performing physical tasks and assisting crew with tools and materials.

You will work outside in varying weather, lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety procedures, and contribute to site preparation, debris removal, and basic trench work as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• May work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.
