Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Site Technology and Operations Engineer in San Diego to serve as the technology bridge for the site, coordinating with local leadership and central IT to ensure services are available, secure, and compliant.

You will lead technology alignment with manufacturing, labs, and facilities, and drive site delivery along with enterprise standards while coordinating with MSPs and vendors for smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery, infrastructure operations, and workplace services.
• Experience coordinating MSPs, vendors, central IT teams, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technology contact for the site/campus for internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent local IT and technology perspectives in site-level decisions as part of Campus Leadership Team.
• Co-design the site/plant digital and technology roadmap with local leadership to maximize productivity and mitigate operational risks.
• Coordinate technology demand and translate site business needs into clear requirements and dependencies.
• Ensure services remain available, secure, and compliant with corporate standards and regulatory expectations.
