Job summary

Citadel Roofing and Solar is seeking Site Survey Technicians to take measurements and photographs inside and outside customers’ properties. The role involves documenting electrical panels, meters, and obstructions, then ensuring the solar system will fit on the roof.

The position requires comfort with heights, strong customer service, and a valid driver’s license. You will upload all photos and documents after each survey and follow safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar and battery systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be comfortable with heights and roof access.
• Good customer service skills essential.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Take pictures of electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and property.
• Complete Site Surveys on daily schedule.
• Communicate with customers and be punctual.
• Upload all documents and photos after completion using provided tools.
• Comply with city regulations and safety standards.
• Confirm solar system fits on the roof and area is obstruction-free.
• Ensure installations can proceed as designed.

Opportunity: Site Survey Technicians take accurate measurements inside and out of our customer’s properties. Taking pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property. Installations will be designed based on those measurements. Previous experience in technical surveying and taking accurate measurements is a plus. The surveyor must be comfortable with heights and climbing onto roof areas.

Responsibilities:

• Take pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property.
• Effectively accomplish all Site Surveys on their daily schedule
• Communicate with customers and be very punctual
• Upload all documents and pictures immediately after completion through tools provided
• Comply with all city regulations
• Ensure solar system will fit on the roof and the area is free of any obstructions
• Ensure systems can be installed as designed
• Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations
• Maintain a positive attitude and follow directions

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of solar and battery systems required
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Must be comfortable with heights and climbing onto roof areas for extended periods of time
• Must have good customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Keeps a clean appearance
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills
• Required experience:
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license, and be able to pass a drug test
• 2 years of experience in related field
