Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a qualified candidate for a Defense & Security site operations role. You will coordinate hardware, software and modifications, review work for compliance, and collaborate with engineering, PM, and manufacturing to deliver proposals meeting customer needs.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience, a technical degree or equivalent training, and relevant CompTIA certifications. U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance are required; DoD clearance must be maintained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent military/technical training.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance or in-scope/continuous evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with site operations and all personnel assigned; coordinates hardware, software and modifications.
  • Collaborates with engineering, program management, marketing, manufacturing and operations to meet customer needs.
  • Monitors progress and quality; identifies and resolves problems escalated from team or government counterparts.
  • Ensures contract compliance for all site operations and maintains good customer relationships.
  • Supports monthly status submittals to meet CDRL requirements; attends required meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with site operations and all personnel assigned. Coordinates and schedules activities to include hardware, software and modifications. Assigns functions to subordinates and reviews completed technical work for compliance with requirements. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as engineering, program management, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and produce proposals responsive to customer needs. Monitors progress and quality of work and determines solutions to problems encountered. Answers complex technical questions escalated from team members and from government counterparts. Ensures contract compliance for all site operations and maintains good working relationships with all customers. Coordinates with program department managers/leads to ensure adequate resources and personnel are available to meet contract requirements. Assists Site manager with monthly submittals of status reports to meet CDRL requirements. Attends necessary weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as required or directed by the Program Manager. Other duties as assigned by Site manager or Program Management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in the electronics or engineering field or a two-year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute and/or 4 years of military technical training and equivalent electronics maintenance experience on equipment of similar complexity.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • CompTIA certification in one or both of the following: Security+ and/or Network+.
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
  • Position requires a SECRET Clearance that is currently in-scope or under continuous evaluation.
  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
