We’re looking for a Site Supervisor / Landscaping Crew Leader to lead crews and support overall operations across our West Michigan locations. This is a hybrid role, involving leadership of landscaping teams and supporting operational tasks throughout the West MI Market.

Candidates MUST have a Chauffeur's license or be willing to obtain one prior to starting, at their own cost. The ideal candidate also holds MDARD Pesticide Licenses 3A, 3B & 6, and has some experience in operations management.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing field operations for specific customers or sites daily, ensuring quality and specifications are met.
• Assisting teams in the field and conducting quality checks across West MI properties.
• Maintaining schedules and ensuring service expectations are met.
• Addressing customer concerns and reporting issues to the Operations Manager.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.
• Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager to meet client needs.
• Monitoring site quality and addressing deficiencies daily.
• Overseeing service delivery as per client specifications.
• Identifying efficiencies and coordinating service execution.
• Delegating work to crew members and providing feedback.
• Assisting in training and developing crew members.
• Ensuring equipment maintenance and good working order.
• Participating in branch meetings and ensuring accurate crew time recording.
• Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles.

Qualifications:

• BrightView Equipment certifications.
• Experience in landscape-related fields.
• Leadership skills among team members and peers.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Chauffeur’s License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and medical exams.
• Current MDOT Medical Card or ability to obtain within 48 hours of offer.
• Effective communication skills on-site with crews and clients.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to load/unload materials onto trailers.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and stand/walk for up to 10 hours a day.
