Job Description

Position Summary

The Site Supervisor oversees all K-12th grade after-school and summer programs at the KidWorks Bishop Manor Center (KBM). Responsibilities include program implementation, compliance, evaluation, and fostering partnerships with families, schools, and community stakeholders. The role involves staff coaching, volunteer management, student engagement, and occasionally providing crisis support. Currently, the position supervises one staff member and approximately 60 students weekly.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
  • Implement and adapt programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support student behavior and maintain positive program culture.
  • Ensure health, safety, and emergency protocols are followed.

Staff, Volunteer & Intern Supervision

  • Supervise staff and volunteers, providing training and support.
  • Conduct meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Support volunteer engagement and recognition.

Community & Family Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with families and community partners.
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
  • Develop partnerships to enhance programming and resources.

Student Support & Case Management

  • Provide mentorship and developmental support to students.
  • Connect families with additional supports and services.
  • Maintain documentation on student progress.

Evaluation, Attendance & Reporting

  • Track attendance and participation data.
  • Complete program evaluations and reports.
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years’ experience working with children/youth.
  • Previous supervision experience preferred.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
  • Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive students as needed.
