Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Site Supervisor in Winnemucca, NV to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and required reports filed; you may also respond to emergencies per policy.

The role emphasizes supervision, payroll support, and maintaining adequate post coverage while coordinating with management to meet client needs. Nevada Guard Card and Driver's License are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Nevada Guard Card and Nevada Driver's License with clean record required.
• 1 year Security experience and 1 year Supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders with subordinates.
• Assists in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to staff.
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, and evaluating workers.

Primary Location: Winnemucca, NV

Wage Range: $20.00-$24.00/HR

$300 sign-on bonus after 30 days for candidates who possess a valid Nevada Guard Card, Nevada Driver's License, and OSHA certification!

The Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.

What You Can Expect:

• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and, making hiring and termination recommendations.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Nevada Guard Card.
• Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• 1 year Security experience.
• 1 year Supervisor experience.
