SBM Management Services, LP in Washington, DC is seeking a Site Supervisor to safely coordinate activities within the assigned program, supervising SBM employees and temporary staff. The role requires inspection of areas, equipment and working conditions to ensure OSHA and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities include training and supervising personnel, coordinating work, maintaining records and preparing reports, tracking inventory and equipment, and ensuring proper PPE use.

Qualifications

  • Six months to 1 year of related experience or training.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating a team is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Supervise and train program employees and temporary staff.
  • Coordinate and monitor work activities, ensuring safety and policy compliance.
  • Conduct inspections, maintain records, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Track equipment and inventory, manage PPE usage, and report issues to the manager.
  • Drive to various sites as required and travel may be necessary.

Title: Site Supervisor Job Description: Now Hiring: Site Supervisor

Compensation: $65,000-$70,000

Shift: Days/Variable, M-F

Job Overview The Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The Individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Perform duties of employees within the program assigned Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures Coordinate and monitors work activities, recommends training and discipline Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly Perform quality, service, and safety inspections Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair Track supplies and maintain inventory Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data Familiar with supervisor responsibilities The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. Some travel may be required for this position.

Education and/ or Experience

Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. May be required to be Forklift Certified

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bilingual in Spanish a plus Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service skills, training abilities, and time management skills Problem solving, presentation, and coaching Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to effectively communicate to customers, contractors, or employees of organization. Use of forklifts and pallet jacks a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
