Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Site Supervisor to safely coordinate program activities, supervise employees, and ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations. The role includes inspections, training, and reporting responsibilities, with occasional travel.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and possibly forklift certification. Evening shift, 55,000/year, benefits offered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.
  • Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor work activities; recommend training and discipline.
  • Prepare written reports such as pass down, weekly, or monthly.
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
  • Monitor PPE usage for safety compliance.
  • Report personnel and customer issues to manager.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.
  • Maintain records (training, inspections, attendance, metrics).
  • Some travel may be required.

Title: Site Supervisor Job Description:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The Individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
  • Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitors work activities, recommends training and discipline
  • Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
  • Track supplies and maintain inventory
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
  • Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
  • Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
  • Familiar with supervisor responsibilities
  • Some travel may be required for this position
Qualification

Education and/ or Experience:
  • Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • May be required to be Forklift Certified
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
  • Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service skills, training abilities, and time management skills
  • Problem solving, presentation, and coaching
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate to customers, contractors, or employees of organization.
  • Use of forklifts and pallet jacks a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
