Job summary

Atlas Supreme Service Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage daily construction activities on project sites and oversee subcontractors and crews. You will support lead project managers with site coordination, scheduling, and field documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes safety management, paperwork, and collaboration with Atlas executives to reach project goals. On-site work with regular site safety training is required.

Qualifications

• Oversee field operations, subcontractors and crews on site.
• Manage site safety and compliance with standards.
• Interpret drawings and review RFIs and transmittals.
• Manage sign‑in and sign‑out procedures for personnel.
• Document manpower and equipment on site.
• Prepare construction schedules and field notes checklists.
• Record and document onsite activities and progress.
• Prepare daily logs for project tracking.
• Supervise the Assistant Site Supervisor and coordinate with management.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site field operations and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and site health rules are enforced.
• Review drawings and respond to information requests.
• Maintain sign‑in/out logs and attendance records.
• Track manpower and equipment on site.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and logs.
• Document daily activities and report progress to the team.
• Guide junior staff and align with project goals.

Position Summary

A site supervisor reports to the general superintendent and manages daily construction activities on project sites. The site supervisor oversees subcontractors and crews while supporting lead project managers with buying out trades, coordinating expeditors and subcontractors. They will also manage overall project production, scheduling, and project coordination.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee field operations, subcontractors and crews on site
• Manage site safety
• Interpret drawings, review and prepare requests for information and transmittals
• Manage sign‑in and sign‑out procedures
• Document manpower and equipment
• Prepare schedules and maintain field notes and checklists
• Record and document onsite activities
• Prepare daily logs
• Supervise and direct the Assistant Site Supervisor, coordinate with Atlas executive and management team to execute project goals

Physical Demands:

• Must climb permanent and temporary stairs, use construction personnel hoists, climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
• Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Regularly works on site at construction work sites exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
• Noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
• Requires 40‑hour Site Safety Training (SST) or OSHA 40.

Compensation

$80,000 - $100,000 / year
