About the firm

We are recruiting on behalf of established New York general contractors specializing in high-end residential construction - renovations and gut projects on apartments, townhouses and single-family homes across the city and the surrounding metro area. These are long-standing firms with reputations built on craftsmanship, repeat clients and well-run job sites, not volume.

The role

You will run the site for a firm based in Long Island City - a materially easier commute than Manhattan for anyone in Queens, Brooklyn or on Long Island. These are high-end residential projects, condominiums, townhouses and brownstones, where the finish standard is exacting and the client is often living next door to the work. Superintendents report to the job, not to an office, so where you live matters less than where the work is.
