Job summary

RAM Construction in San Diego is seeking a qualified Superintendent to plan and supervise daily field activities, manage safety, schedule, and coordinate subs. The role requires proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinating with inspectors.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, on-site quality control, and strong communication with the project team to maintain schedule and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction projects for a General Contractor.
• Ground-up construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Experience with scheduling multiple subs and vendors on critical path.
• Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam for field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate all daily field activities and site safety.
• Coordinate schedule, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Walk the site daily to monitor activities and plan future work.
• Communicate RFIs, submittals, and ASIs with project team.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor and safety meetings.
