The Construction Supervisor will lead field coordination and execution on large-scale construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and according to quality standards.
The Construction Supervisor will oversee subcontractors, trade workers, and field activities while coordinating work across multiple disciplines and providing technical and field support throughout construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company policies, the site-specific safety plan, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, trade workers, and project staff.
- Support the development and maintenance of the overall project schedule and track field progress throughout construction.
- Lead three-week look-ahead planning and Last Planner scheduling sessions with subcontractors.
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules, material deliveries, and work across all disciplines.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work remains aligned with the project schedule.
- Support Quality Control activities, including pre-construction meetings, field observations, inspections, and review of subcontractor work.
- Work closely with HSE teams to implement safety processes, inspections, training, and site safety initiatives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, addenda, change documents, and other project documentation.
- Assist with take-offs and pricing for proposed contract changes.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date set of construction documents and approved modifications.
- Provide technical and field support to engineering teams, including field measurements, layout, constructability reviews, maintainability reviews, and as-built information.
- Coordinate subcontractor mobilization, site activities, and material delivery dates with the Construction Manager.
- Assist with determining quantities and percentage of work completed for monthly payment applications and cost reports.
- Participate in owner and project management meetings and communicate field progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Review RFIs, PCOs, correspondence, and other project documentation and communicate concerns to the Construction Manager.
- Complete daily construction reports and provide accurate weekly progress and cost information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- 10+ years of experience working on large-scale construction projects.
- Semiconductor construction experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/Writer and Visio.
- General knowledge of BIM, BIM 360, and BIM Field.

They should be comfortable coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades, managing schedules, reviewing construction documents, addressing field issues, and working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering, Quality, and HSE teams.
