DUS is seeking a Security Sergeant to supervise on-site security teams at a Corpus Christi, TX site. The role reports to the Security Captain and ensures compliance with contract scope, policies, and laws. The position includes administrative duties such as incident reports and staff evaluations.

The working supervisor role leads by example, directing responses to emergencies and coordinating with client requirements. Requires security licensure, TWIC, and ability to train others.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of prior experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, or private security.
• Valid driver’s license.
• State Unarmed Security Officer License.
• TWIC is required, or able to obtain.
• Ability to lead with professionalism, respect and integrity at all times.
• Ability to teach and train others.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong decision making and incident/event management skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and post-offer physical/fitness evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with all DUS and client policies, procedures, and work rules.
• Coordinate security operations at the job site under the direction of the Security Captain.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed by the end of the shift and turned into the Captain.
• Protect property, facilities, and personnel; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Write reports and provide detailed accounts of incidents or events.
• Supervise training of security staff and ensure training program requirements are met.
• Support emergency responses as requested by client or management.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations and ensure safety protocols.
• Provide back-up support for on-duty personnel as needed.
