Site Security Manager/CAC Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to members of the Armed Forces, their families, civilians, and contractors. Assist customers, advise on eligibility requirements, and process applications to determine eligibility.
  2. Perform functions required to issue ID cards, ID tags, Geneva Convention cards, Teslin cards, and CACs, including review, research, verification of source documents, eligibility, and discussing entitlements.
  3. Ensure 100% accuracy in ID issuance by verifying the recipient's eligibility.
  4. Manage appointment scheduling via telephone, email, or the DMDC centralized ID card appointment scheduler. Update the online calendar daily and respond promptly to requests.
  5. Control the issuance of military ID cards and CACs for Active, Guard, Reserve members, retirees, family members/dependents, and other eligible recipients.
  6. Reconcile DEERS information, update DEERS/RAPIDS within one hour of approval, and respond to inquiries within one business day. Follow up and resolve discrepancies within two business days, adhering to DoDI 1000-13 and related volumes.
  7. Perform as an alternate Military Personnel Specialist, handling personnel accounting, IPPS-A, personnel files, soldier readiness, reassignments, in/out processing, promotions, personnel actions, transitions, and customer service to Casualty Assistance.

Qualifications / Education / Skills:

  • Experience in customer service/support roles
  • Military background or familiarity

Miscellaneous:

U.S. citizenship required. Must pass pre-employment criminal background and fingerprint checks. Certification as a Verifying Official is required.
