Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Analyst to join our team. The Security Analyst will play a vital role in safeguarding classified information and ensuring strict adherence to established security procedures and federal regulations. The successful candidate will support the enforcement of security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborate with government site security personnel, and oversee the protection and management of sensitive and classified materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security team adheres to and enforces established security SOPs.
  • Coordinate with Government site security points of contact on all matters related to classified information.
  • Safeguard and manage classified equipment and information developed by or entrusted to the organization.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of NRO security policies, procedures, and oversight requirements.
  • Oversee the proper classification, access, handling, storage, and destruction of classified and sensitive materials.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze classification management programs in compliance with federal laws, regulations, and directives.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections related to information security and classification management.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of prior relevant experience in a security-related role.
  • Familiarity with industrial security practices, including the safeguarding of facilities, materials, and sensitive information.
  • Basic understanding of classification management procedures and federal security regulations.
  • Experience with personnel security processes such as clearance prescreening, verification, upgrades/downgrades, and reinvestigations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and government security contacts.
  • Capable of working independently and exercising discretion in routine and non-routine tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active or previously held U.S. government security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
  • Working knowledge of federal security directives (e.g., ICDs, NISPOM, DoD Manuals).
  • Experience managing special access programs (SAP) and restricted access environments.
  • Familiarity with foreign visitor protocols and facility access control procedures.
  • Prior involvement in threat mitigation or asset protection planning at an organizational level.
  • Demonstrated ability to brief and debrief personnel on access responsibilities and security procedures.
  • Proficient in using security clearance management systems and tools (e.g., DISS, eQIP, SWFT).
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and implement security solutions.

Pay Range: Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
