Consolidated Nuclear Security in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Site Scheduling Integrated Scheduler to lead the integration of online and offline work across production facilities and systems. Responsibilities

  • Lead online/offline work strategy from start to finish, including scope, planning, execution, and documentation phases.
  • Incorporate offline work into the production plan to meet deliverables and capacity needs.
  • Lead reviews of project proposals, plans, and production schedule impacts.
  • Update schedules to ensure tasks are planned, tracked, and executed; resolve conflicts.

What You'll Do

The Site Scheduling Integrated Scheduler provides leadership to Y-12 Site Operations and works directly with System Health, Production, Enterprise Planning and Controls, Engineering, Infrastructure, and other organizations in the on-line and offline work activities for production facility and equipment. Integrated Schedulers are responsible for developing and implementing all phases of the integrated scheduling program and provides coordination and oversight of integrated schedules to include demand windows for online and offline work execution. Position requires a self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision. Integrated Schedulers require a good working relationship and communication with other organizations to ensure details of necessary work are properly communicated and supported for successful execution of scheduled activities to meet milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing multidiscipline online/offline work strategy from start to finish to include managing the scope, planning and preparation, execution, and documentation phases.
  • Incorporates offline work (projects, upgrades, equipment test & inspection, calibrations, surveillances, maintenance, outages, etc.) into the production (online) plan to ensure deliverables are met and equipment availability meets capacity needs.
  • Integrating stakeholder objectives by leading reviews for project proposals, plans, and production schedule impacts.
  • Integrating and updating schedules to ensure online/offline tasks are properly planned, tracked, and executed; indentifying and resolving conflicts or inteferences.
  • Building integrated plans to provide clear and concise documented direction and coordination to the execution teams.
  • Technical resolution by applying engineering knowledge, problem solving, and expertise needed to lead resolutions for technical issues such as discipline or execution interferences or return to service impacts to the customer.
  • Integrating system health planning and prioritization and manage the execution of the system reliability improvements to meet equipment capacity needs.
  • Capturing and analyzing data to assure program goals and associated risks are being appropriately executed.
  • Managing and integrating the online/offline windows through system maintenance blitzes, campaigns, and outages.
  • Communicating input to stakeholders to ensure coordination of online/offline priorities, incorporation of planning and scheduling into multi-year priorities, and general consideration of the site scheduling program.
  • Closing out online/offline windows by documenting work execution completion, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure near term and long range, prioritized strategies for online/offline management for production equipment and facility infrastructure are defined and executed on a schedule that supports continued safe operations while meeting the mission.

Accountabilities:

  • To the Integrated Scheduling Manager and Site Scheduling Senior Manager, for integrating scheduling teams, executing the online/offline work management process, and daily managing of required tasks in production facilitiles.
  • To the System Health Managers and Production organization for the integration, communication, and coordination of online/offline activities required to accomplish mission delivery and long-term sustainment and modernization initiatives.

Authorities:

  • Authorized to communicate priorities and schedule for work activity demand at the Y-12 site.
  • Authorized to represent Y-12 Operations and the production facilities and associated site infrastructure needs in forums where the need, priority, and execution of online/offline work are being defined.
