Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Site Safety Manager (Lead) in Dayton, OH for a 6-week, then 1-year project. The role is a 1099 contractor with rate $54-$58/hr, weekly pay, and 40–50 hours per week.

You will lead safety on a live retrofit at an active fulfillment center, coordinating across trades to keep operations safe and compliant. The ideal candidate has OSHA 500 and 7+ years in lead safety roles, strong field presence, and excellent documentation and communication skills to support

Job Title: Site Safety Manager (Lead)

Schedule

Hours: 40-50 hours/week
Schedule: Monday-Friday (possible Saturdays & Sundays based on workload)
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Project Scope

This position provides lead safety oversight for a long‑term retrofit project at an active fulfillment center in Dayton, OH. The Site Safety Manager (Lead) will oversee safety operations during floor demolition, site remediation, and electrical installation while coordinating work in a fully operational facility.

The role requires experienced safety leadership, the ability to manage multiple trades, and proactive coordination around live site conditions to ensure work is performed safely without disrupting ongoing operations.

Qualifications
