Role Description

The Site Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in El Paso, TX, responsible for overseeing daily safety operations at client job sites. This role develops, implements, and monitors site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EHS standards, and client requirements. The Site Safety Manager conducts regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, leads toolbox talks and safety meetings, and provides ongoing safety training and coaching to site personnel. The role includes investigating incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports, recommending corrective actions, and tracking follow-up to prevent recurrence. The Site Safety Manager collaborates with project managers, supervisors, and OccuPros leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, maintain required documentation, and support continuous improvement of safety performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Safety principles applicable to construction, industrial, or related environments.
• Experience delivering Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including OSHA-aligned courses and site orientations.
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, root-cause analysis, and incident reporting, with the ability to implement effective corrective actions.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and related standards) and practical application in field operations.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry), First Aid/CPR, or equivalent safety credentials are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams, influence safe behaviors, and build strong working relationships on site.
• Experience using digital tools for safety documentation, reporting, and training management; proficiency with standard office software.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, or a related field is a plus.
