Job summary

Dynalectric Arizona seeks a Site Safety Representative to implement safety best practices on construction sites in Mesa, AZ. You will manage accident claims, conduct site inspections, and enforce safety policies to minimize OSHA citations and keep personnel safe.

The role requires a safety degree or equivalent, OSHA certifications, and proven field experience. Expect field/office mix, possible long hours, and some travel for training.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred.
• 2 years of proven safety experience in the field (construction preferred).
• OSHA 10 & 30 certifications.
• Working knowledge of legal health and safety guidelines.
• Proven knowledge of risk assessment.
• Ability to effectively work as a team member.
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
• Good communication, interpersonal abilities and motivational skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Educating / training labor about safety measures.
• Manage accident / safety claims as they occur (accompany employee to urgent care).
• Follow up on accidents and investigating causes.
• Maintain accident reports / records.
• Manage return to work / modified duty claims.
• Maintain incident reports (by occurrence).
• Manage safety equipment for Hot Work, Fall Protection, & Confined Space.
• Perform job site inspections (reports).
• Complete site specific safety plans as required.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.
