Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Project Safety Support Manager to promote a proactive safety culture on our Geismar project. You will lead the Safety Task Team and coordinate safety processes across project lines, ensuring alignment with corporate safety standards and external regulations.

Key duties include guiding training, maintaining records, and interfacing with operations management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed on this site.

Qualifications

• Development and support of guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Strong liaison with Project Line Management for safety initiatives.
• Awareness of pending legislation and regulatory mandates and communication to safety teams.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance with line management and policies.
• Assist in identifying training needs and opportunities with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the Safety Task Team to achieve a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate safety processes and reporting across the project.
• Review and monitor safety policies for usability in field applications.
• Initiate routine assessments and follow up with management on corrective actions.
• Provide input on effective training approaches for field locations.
• Ensure training completions are documented and accessible for review.
• Support timely field reporting to Corporate Safety Support Manager.
