Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our Vernon, TX site. The role focuses on upholding a strong safety culture with daily site inspections, trainings, and incident prevention, ensuring compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.

You will collaborate with project leadership to enforce safety practices, document inspections, and lead toolbox talks. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of field safety experience and relevant certifications, with availability for

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification required.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required or obtained within 30 days onsite.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety knowledge.
• LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training.
• Trench awareness training helpful.
• Excellent communication and field decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and site inspections.
• Identify, document, communicate, and help correct potential safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, project requirements and safety policies.
• Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Support incident investigations and near-miss reviews.
• Collaborate with foremen and project leadership to resolve safety concerns.
• Integrate safety requirements into all project phases.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, inspection logs, and compliance records.
• Verify proper use of PPE and respond to on-site medical emergencies.
