Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking a Site Reliability Maintenance Engineer near Akron, OH for a well-established steel manufacturing organization. This highly visible engineering role centers on equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and advancing predictive and preventative maintenance to boost operational efficiency.

You will identify reliability improvements, participate in RCA and FMEA, analyze failure data, and collaborate with engineering and plant teams to raise reliability and maintainability

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments, with steelmaking preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage reliability improvements for steel-producing equipment and facilities.
• Lead or participate in Criticality Assessments, Critical Spares Analyses, Root Cause Analyses, and FMEA.
• Analyze equipment failure data and develop reliability improvements and engineering standards.
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting failures, repairs, and equipment design improvements.
• Partner with Engineering and plant teams to improve equipment reliability and maintainability.
• Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs and reliability initiatives.
• Benchmark reliability practices across U.S. sites and help develop best practices.
