One of our companies is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Claroty FedRAMP AWS GovCloud (Public Sector) in New York, US .

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and compliance of cloud-based environments deployed in AWS GovCloud for public sector customers. You will work with a variety of cloud technologies, driving automation, enhancing system performance, and ensuring FedRAMP compliance while collaborating closely with other teams to support and maintain mission-critical systems.

Accountabilities :

  • Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure in AWS GovCloud, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and federal cybersecurity standards.
  • Monitor and enhance system performance and scalability, leveraging observability tools, automation, and industry best practices.
  • Implement and maintain security controls that align with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Automate deployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to system resilience using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
  • Respond to incidents, conduct post-mortems, and ensure timely recovery of critical services.
  • Work closely with DevOps, security teams, developers, and federal stakeholders to maintain a compliant and secure cloud environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required to work in GovCloud environments.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud services (e.g., EC2, EKS, MSK, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong skills in Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
  • Proficiency with logging, monitoring, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
