This Apple Vision Pro team is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and provide comprehensive support for event operations. This role involves a combination of development work, automation, API/REST integration, monitoring, and network engineering tasks.

Description

Support streaming metadata, REST API framework and automated processes critical to media distribution. Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and integrations to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Monitor event-related systems and infrastructure to quickly identify and resolve issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing pipelines and drive innovation in streaming workflows. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes through automation and scripting. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, automation, and event support.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, C++, JavaScript).
2. Experience with automation tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Saltstack, Terraform).
3. Strong understanding of API/REST integration and working with cloud-based services.
4. Familiarity with DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
5. Experience monitoring systems using tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, or similar.
6. Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver on critical deadlines.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
9. Familiarity with video streaming technologies or content delivery networks (CDNs) is a plus.
10. Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5 years of professional experience.
2. Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
