Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC seeks a Site Reliability Engineer with a focus on Windows Platform Services to ensure reliability and security of large-scale enterprise systems in support of Navy/DoD environments.

Responsibilities include Windows Server administration, patching, STIG/IAVA remediation, and operational support. Requires a Secret clearance, strong communication, and the ability to work Tue-Sat afternoon/evening shifts on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology or related field.
• Typically 25 years of relevant IT experience Required.
• Experience supporting Windows Server or enterprise IT environments Required.
• Current Security certification Required.
• Active Secret security clearance Required.
• Ability to work an afternoon/night shift Tuesday through Saturday Required.

Responsibilities

• Windows Server Administration and Support: Build, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 systems.
• Support the full IT infrastructure lifecycle including planning, installation, configuration, ongoing administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades and decommissioning.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve OS, infrastructure, patching and application issues.
• Patching, vulnerability remediation and compliance: perform Windows Server patching, IAVA remediation and security compliance activities.
• Reliability operations and technical improvement: participate in projects, provide technical analysis and implement improvements.
• Team and mission support: collaborate with internal and external teams to support mission critical systems and services.

Position Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer Windows Platform Services focuses on the reliability performance and scalability of complex distributed systems Under the SMIT Contract the Leidos team is responsible for the core backbone of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet including cybersecurity services network operations network engineering service desk seat support services and data transport This role supports the Windows Platform Services team which maintains supports and secures Windows Server operating systems within a large scale enterprise environment The position supports Windows Server administration patching IAVA vulnerability mitigation STIG remediation troubleshooting and operational support for mission critical systems and services

Key Responsibilities

Education
