Job summary

Ivanti is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a fast-paced team focused on reliability, automation, and observability for Ivanti Cloud services. The role blends infrastructure, networking, OS, automation, development, and app administration.

You will work in AWS/Azure, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with global teams to drive 24x7 production readiness. US citizenship is required, with a 4x10 schedule and night shifts in Pacific time.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and located domestically in the U.S.
• BSc in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency with Python and one of Java / Golang / C#
• Bash or PowerShell proficiency
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure
• Experience troubleshooting Java and .NET applications
• Experience troubleshooting network and storage infrastructure
• Experience with Linux distributions (Debian, RHEL, SUSE, Slackware)
• Experience with Windows
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Ability to configure and tune HAProxy, Apache, Nginx, IIS
• Ability to configure monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Splunk)
• Familiarity with container orchestration (AWS EKS, Azure AKS)
• Experience with deployment pipelines (Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Responsibilities

• Work 4 x 10-hour days (Sunday through Wednesday, ~10 PM–9 AM PT).
• Deploy, manage, and secure Ivanti’s production SaaS environments in AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, globally distributed teams to solve problems.
• Automate repetitive tasks and write training material.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24x7 incident response.
