Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve system reliability and automate CI/CD pipelines.

The role collaborates with development, operations, and product teams to drive DevOps best practices and production readiness. The position focuses on automation, monitoring, incident response, and cross‑environment deployments, with heavy scripting and programming in modern languages.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
Scripting, automation and troubleshooting experience.
Hands-on CI/CD with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory.
Experience with Chef recipes and automated deployments.
Designing CI/CD workflows to minimize manual effort.
Programming in Java, Python, C/C++, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Support the full service lifecycle from design and deployment to production operations and continuous improvement.
Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and health.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Implement automation, operational standards, and risk mitigation practices.
Support release management, code promotion, and deployments across environments.
Collaborate with development and product teams to improve reliability and customer experience.
Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
