RPS is seeking Kubernetes DevOps engineers who can help guide clients to the right architecture to meet their needs, design and build solutions, and steer developers towards best practices and patterns to containerize their applications. You'll be working on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack to deliver solutions to our customers, mentoring other talented engineers in k8s best practices, and solving problems in the realm of App Transformation, BigData, and IoT.

Work with us to solve customer business challenges by productionizing and standardizing home-grown k8s stacks so they autoheal and scale on demand. Help our customers rearchitect, refactor, and transform their applications to migrate into the cloud. Mentor the team as we grow and expand our container and Kubernetes offerings.

Help other teams productize standard reference architectures so they are repeatable and stable.

You should have some experience with any of the following technologies:

  • Container Orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm or similar
  • Service Discovery systems such as Etcd, Zookeeper, Consul or equivalent
  • Networking systems like Envoy, Istio, flannel, or equivalent
  • QC and monitoring systems like Twistlock, SonarQube, Prometheus, cAdvisor, DataDog
  • Working knowledge of at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, both AKS/EKS/GKE or on-instance k8s deployments.
  • Understanding of platform level concerns, such as configuration management, network request routing, blue/green or canary deployments, etc.
  • Some interest in Operations concepts & technologies. (Automating Ops tasks using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Yeoman, CloudFormation, Packer and Terraform. This is not an Ops position, but we are engineering solutions to automate Ops workflows.)
  • Working knowledge of at least one of Jenkins, TeamCity, App Service Plan, CodePipeline, CircleCI, etc.
