Stratfield is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our client's Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site reliability, systems engineering, and production support and will be responsible for improving system stability, performance, and operational excellence for mission-critical services.

This is a full-time, direct hire position that will be remote. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain service-level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) to measure system performance and reliability

• Implement observability strategies for monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health

• Manage incident response, lead post-mortems, and drive improvements based on findings

• Conduct capacity planning, failure analysis, and risk assessments to enhance system resilience

• Define and enforce best practices for on-call operations and alert management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field

• Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Certifications or experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are preferred
