Job description

Location: Singapore, Singapore

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and evolve development/staging/production platforms following product delivery life cycle, according to business and technical requirements, together with software development team.
  • Provide staging/production platforms support on resolving any reported ticket following a defined SLA.
  • Install and configure the solution on on-cloud and/or on premise according to the c ustomer requirements and the project plan, integrating with other network elements or customer backend.
  • Guarantee the solution functionality and stability according to customer requirements.
  • Ensure the compliances with Thales deployment rules, and applied the best practices.
  • Assist the development and validation team during the project delivery.
  • Execute the acceptance test plan with the customers.
  • Reviews and challenge the requirement specifications & alert on unclear scope, possible issues & risks foreseen.
  • Write and review technical documentations.
  • Manage technical risks and share them with project manager, hub manager, and engineering manager on regular basis.
  • Perform regular report (tasks progress, risks, etc).
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, with the team, and on a worldwide level.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field .
  • At least 3 years of system integration experience, including large projects.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration, Linux, network, log analysis and troubleshooting, and proven experience with scripts programming and MySQL database.
  • Have intermediate knowledge of report & monitoring configuration and automation tools including Datadog, ELK and Jenkins.
  • Experience and expertise as SRE working on Docker, GCP (especially on IAAS and PAAS), CI/CD, Kubernetes, Python, Shell Script, Terraform, Geo-Redundancy concepts.
  • Creative, autonomous, detail oriented, a strong verbal and written communicator, a problem solver, analytical, able to work under pressure, and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve, learn and grow.

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
