Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing global team at Sectigo.

The Site Reliability Engineer will design and implement solutions to reduce toil and ensure reliability of our critical services at Sectigo.

This is a full-time and remote position, with the ideal candidate located within 1-hour of vehicle commute distance from Newark, New Jersey area.

Core responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the reliability of our critical products and services by meeting or exceeding SRE objectives.
• Building and maintaining production infrastructure using Infrastructure Code and Configuration Management tools.
• Monitoring our services effectively.
• Automating deployments, administration, and monitoring following CI/CD practices.
• Collaborating with engineering and security teams to improve operability and security.
• Participating in team on-call rotation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.

Experience: 3+ years in building and maintaining internet-facing production environments, Linux/Unix administration, source control (Git), Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios), and large-scale production environments.

Talents and Desired Skills: Scripting in Bash and Python, incident management, troubleshooting, experience with build systems (Jenkins, DroneCI), APIs, virtualization, network administration, security, and compliance experience.
