Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in New York, NY. The role is hybrid with four days onsite, focusing on building scalable cloud infrastructure and improving automation and observability.

You will work with AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Snowflake to enhance reliability, security, and platform performance, while supporting HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance and enabling self-service tooling for engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions).
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Datadog monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with Temporal, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Understanding of HIPAA, SOC 2, and cloud security best practices.
