Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Site Readiness Lead to drive manufacturing readiness across customer sites in Windsor, CT. You will assess capacity, labor availability, equipment readiness, and process capability to ensure demand can be met.

The role requires 7–10+ years in manufacturing operations or SIOP, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and US citizenship. Collaborate with IE, PMs, and Operations to improve throughput and resilience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing ops, IE, SIOP or capacity planning.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site readiness assessments at customer locations and evaluate capacity, labor, equipment readiness, and process capability.
  • Lead capacity planning reviews and readiness analyses across SBU sites with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain readiness scorecards, dashboards, and executive summaries.

What Will You Do
Operational Readiness
  • Conduct site readiness assessments at customer manufacturing locations.
  • Evaluate production capacity, labor availability, equipment readiness, and process capability.
  • Verify manufacturing plans support customer demand requirements.
  • Serve as the Manufacturing Engineering and Capacity focal supporting one SBU, ensuring alignment between SBU operational goals, site readiness, and enterprise industrial resilience strategy.
  • Coordinate readiness activities across multiple sites or factories within the assigned SBU, ensuring consistent standards, shared lessons learned, and common approaches to capacity planning and risk mitigation.
  • Represent the SBU in enterprise Industrial Resilience Steering Team discussions when operational constraints or readiness issues require higher-level escalation.
  • Partner with Industrial Engineering to synchronize capacity models, standard work, labor standards, takt time assessments, line balancing analyses, and process capability insights with SIOP outputs
  • Lead capacity planning reviews, readiness analyses, factory stability evaluations, and throughput improvement initiatives across supported SBU sites.
  • Integrate digital twin outputs, MES data, labor modeling, equipment capability assessments, and production flow analyses into readiness decision-making.
  • Identify and drive resolution for systemic constraints impacting multiple sites within the SBU.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions among SIOP, IE, Operations, and Program Management to resolve bottlenecks and align long-range production readiness plans.
Risk Identification & Mitigation
  • Identify, quantify, prioritize, track, mitigate and escape as needed critical issues and risks related to delivery, quality, materials, staffing, and capacity.
  • Ensure risk driven issues identified early from SIOP data, Industrial Engineering capacity models, or ops metrics are identified as targeted preventive actions
  • Drive recovery planning activities for underperforming sites.
Continuous Improvement
  • Promote Lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles.
  • Drive corrective actions and systemic improvements.
Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare readiness assessment reports and executive summaries.
  • Communicate site status, operational risks, and recovery plans to leadership and capacity readiness
  • Monitor progress against readiness milestones and implementation plans.
  • Develop scorecards and dashboards to track readiness performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits and action items.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, SIOP or capacity planning.
  • Strong project management and influencing skills to guide cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, factory physics, capacity simulation tools
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
Pay Range

$95000/year-$100000/year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is 100% on-site at the customer location in Windsor, CT

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements

Due to the nature of the work travel may be required.
