Job summary

Lithium Americas Corp. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site’s quality program at Thacker Pass in Winnemucca, NV. You will manage all QA/QC activities, develop and sustain quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and testing processes.

The role requires a strong background in quality leadership, data analysis, and problem solving, with a focus on high-purity materials and compliance to ISO standards. Travel to vendor locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, chemistry, or quality management.
• Three+ years in a quality management role.
• Six Sigma or ASQ credentials are a plus.
• Experience in high-purity product industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality management program across site operations.
• Direct QA laboratory and QC activities to meet customer specs.
• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 compliant QMS.
• Lead RCA, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with HSE to align quality and environmental standards.
