Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to develop and maintain a QMS compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and U.S. Army requirements. You will oversee site quality processes, audits, and corrective actions to ensure mission success and contractual compliance.
The role requires collaboration with Army representatives, project leadership, and contractor personnel, plus strong leadership, analytical skills, and familiarity with Army logistics standards.
The Quality Assurance Manageris responsible fordeveloping, implementing, andmaintaininga Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance withISO 9001:2015 standardsand all applicableU.S. Army supply, maintenance, and transportation requirements. The QA Manager will oversee site quality processes, conduct audits, leadcorrectiveand preventive actions, and collaborate with Army representatives, project leadership, and contractor personnel to ensure mission success and contractual compliance.
Manages quality assurance activities. Implements, monitors, and interprets testing meant to verify quality or compliance of products or production processes, and suggests modifications meant to prevent defects in components or final products. Manages installs and validates testing equipment or procedures. Analyzes test results, and interprets data to produce reports detaining quality related trends. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.
